Treasure Trove
The Treasure Trove has lots of items with helpful abilities. Try using these if you are stuck, or can’t afford a certain character.
Guide studs
If you are unsure of where to go in Middle-earth, try looking out for some guide studs, or swapping to other characters.
Throwing Gimli
Don’t forget, Gimli can be thrown to reach places he can’t normally reach.
Helpful objects
If you are stuck in a level, try destroying everything around you. That may reveal a helpful object. Don’t try this at home!
Dwarves
Don’t try to work out which Dwarves are female or male. Even they don’t know.
Blacksmith
The blacksmith can make lots of useful items. Don’t forget to visit him regularly.
Map Stones
You can travel across Middle-earth by using the Map Stones. If you see one, don’t forget to activate it!
Check the map
Check the map regularly to see what secrets are hidden around.
Backpack
Some characters have helpful items in their backpack, don’t forget to check.
Elves jump higher
Elves can jump higher than other characters. If you can’t quite reach something, try using an Elf.
Night time
Night time in Middle-earth can sometimes reveal secrets that aren’t present during the day.
Speed up
It’s a long walk to Mordor, perhaps some new shoes will speed up the journey.
