Chips and curry sauce FTW!
I’m member of the production team, working with the developers at Traveller’s Tales and TT Fusion to make the games. I’ve always loved playing games of all sorts (video games, board games, pen and paper RPGs) and LEGO, so I really have a dream job!
“Rick” – people get my surname and forenames mixed up a lot!
Favorite LEGO Video Game (and why):
Impossible to choose one, so I’ll choose 2…
LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4:
I loved how the game felt and played differently to all of the others. It was full of surprises and amazing things to build or transform with LEGO bricks.
LEGO Indiana Jones 2:
The different hub worlds, where all of Indy’s adventures were jumbled together, were terrific fun. The game also allowed you to build your own levels, and even string them together to make your own world-spanning original Indiana Jones adventure!
Most important in a game:
Telling an exciting story, with amazing characters and incredible locations is the cornerstone of any good game. We’re so incredibly lucky, as the LEGO games have allowed us to re-imagine some of the most popular and awesome worlds ever invented.
Bionicle Heroes, LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures, LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues, LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars, LEGO Harry Potter Years 5-7, LEGO The Lord of the Rings: The Video Game.
Favorite LEGO Set:
I still remember getting my first LEGO Space toy for Xmas; it was the Mobile Rocket Transport. I remember ignoring the instructions and building my own crazy ships and vehicles until well into the New Year, until a grown-up suggested trying to follow the instructions!
Also the first LEGO Star Wars set I bought as an adult Luke’s Landspeeder is still on my desk at home!
Been with TT since…?
