Time with TT Games:
I started at TT towards the end of 2010. It’s only been 5 years but what an exciting time it’s been so far!
“A designer is never happy!”
I am a lifelong gamer lucky enough to get a job doing something I love. When I’m not in the office making games, I’m usually playing, reading about or thinking about games.
As a designer I have many, many responsibilities. The most important aspect of my job, however, is designing puzzles and level layouts before working with the rest of the very talented team here at Traveller’s Tales to bring those designs to life.
My nickname? Depends on who you ask really. Usually its “Oi… you’re a designer, right?”
Favorite LEGO Video Game (and why):
LEGO® The Lord of the Rings™.
For me, LEGO The Lord of the Rings simply brings one of the greatest fantasy worlds in to our little LEGO videogame family. It was also the first project that I was a part of from the very start of its development so has many great memories associated with it.
As well as that, LEGO The Lord of the Rings also introduced fully voiced quests to the Tt LEGO games as well as some brilliant items to collect and craft.
There’s something truly amazing about seeing Samwise dressed up in silly armour and dancing to the Disco Phial!
Most important in a game:
I’d argue that the most important part of a game is the passion of the team behind it.
The majority of games are a result of many people pouring (metaphorical) blood, sweat, tears and a lot of hours in to a project to get it realised and created for everyone to enjoy.
The collaboration of all development departments coming together to create a well-polished package that is filled with love and care is what really makes a game great.
Before (and even during my early months at Tt) I worked on a various titles in a Quality Assurance role. Since then I’ve been incredibly fortunate and have worked on many great games across many IPs and licenses.

Favorite LEGO Set:
That’s a tricky one as there’s so many great sets available out there to choose from!
My earliest memories of LEGO is playing with a random assortment of LEGO bricks in an old plastic box and so nothing, in my opinion at least, can beat the raw creative drive of just building whatever comes to mind without any instructions (Don’t tell Wyldstyle I said that).
If I had to pick a set, I guess I would have to pick set 10179 – The Ultimate Collectors Millennium Falcon. That build is glorious!
